Fiery Love

Proverbs 8:17 I love those who love me, and those who seek me diligently find me.

“Ultimately There is nothing Christ wants more then a Bride who loves him with the same kind of Fiery Zeal with which He loves her.”

Revelations 3:15-16 clearly show this to us:

“ I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you our of My mouth.”

Our Human response is “NEVER, LORD!, surely you would never do such a thing" Some of us are appalled that Christ would think about doing that to a believer simply because they are half hearted or indifferent in some way.“

Though it seems extreme to us at first, we can't really expect God to like someone’s lukewarm LOVE, when we ourselves don’t like things lukewarm? Think about it, how many people do you know that like thing to be lukewarm?

Think about how many thing WE don't like lukewarm; Food – Water – Showers – Coffee - Love Can you think of anyone in this world who would say " I want to find someone who loves me with a lukewarm love?" No, they are looking for someone to LOVE them with a FIERY LOVE!

Christ loves us with a FIERY, PASSIONATE LOVE and he's looking for us to simply Love him the same way. He's looking for a people who Love Him not only in word but in deeds, actions, examples, the same way He did for us.

Christ true example of Love was displayed when he stretched out His arms and died on the cross for our sins.

Romans 5:8 "but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."

Jesus calls us to cast aside all the worldly interest that lead to our lukewarm feelings for Him. Jesus calls us to take up our cross and follow him, because in His infinite love He know the benefits that await those who do. To accept Jesus call to the cross is to embark upon an eternal love adventure with the God of the universe. Taking up our cross is the way to express the Fiery Love God is looking for from his bride.

It's time to pick up your cross and renew your vow to God. Its time to rekindle the FIERY flame of LOVE within you for God. Its time to look at the cross through the eyes of FIERY LOVE, and in response, pick up your Cross, and love Jesus the way He longs for His bride to Love Him,.....with a FIERY LOVE.
