    Speaking God's Language Prt 3

Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength,’ 31The second is this: ’Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these. Mark 12:29

For the past two days we have touched on The 5 Love Languages, what they are and how to begin to speak God's Love Language. Let's continue today with Part 2.

The Five Love Languages: * Acts of Kindness, * Giving Gifts, * Words of Affirmation, * Physical Touch & Quality Time

I believe that God’s love language embodies all of these qualities and can be summed up into one word; AGAPE , which means a selfless love. It is a love that is given, expecting nothing in return. AGAPE love is a love that is both free & full, it’s a love that is given to a person no matter what they have done. We don’t often see this kind of love in the world because AGAPE love is a God kind of love.

Friends, do we have AGAPE love for God? Do we love God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength? Or do you attempt to AGAPE God with some of your heart, maybe all of your soul, but none of your mind, and very little strength?

To Love somebody effectively we need to speak their language, and I believe even to love God properly we need to understand and speak His language.

So the question today is how do we speak God’s Love Language?

    #1 Commit to it!

Commit your whole being to Him! (Read more on this in yesterdays post 3/11/15)

    #2 Think on it!

Think on the things of God! (Read more on this in yesterdays post 3/12/15)

    3) Practice It. (Use your words!)

How do we do this, how do we put God’s Love Language into practice?

As I said earlier; God’s Love Language is simply AGAPE LOVE.

The Agape Love of God incorporates all 5 of the Love Languages we talked about earlier.

    A- Acts of Kindness

    G- Gifts

    A- Affirmation

    P- Physical Touch

E- Every moment of Quality Time we have

If we begin to apply those 5 Languages to our relationship with God we would NOT only be speaking His language but opening up the windows of heaven for God to pour down a blessing on us.

You may be saying to yourself, “Okay, so how am I suppose to do all those things to God? How am I suppose to Physically Touch God or actually give Him a gifts?”

Well the word of God says in Matt 25:40 "Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me."

We actually touch God when we reach out and touch others, when we reach out to the least and the lost.
