    Love His Saving Power

Psalms 70: O God, hurry to take me out of trouble. O Lord, hurry to help me! 2 Let those who want to kill me be ashamed and brought low. Let those who want to hurt me be turned away in shame. 3 Let those who say, “O, O!” be turned back because of their shame.

4 Let all who look for You be full of joy and be glad in You. And let those who love Your saving power always say, “Let God be honored.” 5 But I am poor and in need. Hurry to me, O God! You are my help and the One Who takes me out of trouble. O Lord, do not wait.

This Psalm teaches us that those who put all their trust in the faithfulness of God will be delivered because God cannot deny His own character and Word.

Are you in a situation where you need God to do something right now? We all come to that point at one time or another. When trouble comes, how do you pray? Do you timidly pray for help, or do you call on God like David did, "O God, hurry to take me out of trouble;.." Or as stated in the KJV "Make haste, O God, to deliver me;..." In this Psalm David was saying, "Hurry up Lord, I need You right now!" You may think that David was overstepping himself just because he was God's anointed but he wasn't. Hebrews 4:16 tells believers to "....come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need."

God wants you to be confident that you are in His grave, and that He will come to your rescue when you need Him. Hasten to the throne of grace, humbly confessing any wrongdoing on your part, and be prepared to trust completely in the Saving Power of the Almighty God.

Let those of us that love the saving power of God continuously say; "We honor you Lord!" Let us never be afraid to go boldly before our Father, Daddy, Jesus' throne and ask for His help, He is our Salvation in times of trouble.
